This is a collection of simple Midi files for a number of hymns we might
uses in our services. It is provided as a resource for musicians in the
Parish. Apart from clicking on them to hear the tune as a reminder, you
can save a file on your computer for loading into your favourite software,
e.g. to transpose for your instrument, or to assist in learning your part.
More suggestions about software at the foot of the page.
Hymn numbers in this list are as in Liturgical Hymns Old & New
(Kevin Mayhew, 1999), as used in both our churches; consult this book
for the lyrics.
This collection is steadily being expanded.
The full list of files available is longer than the list below
- see here for a complete listing.
